Dogs, Who To Be Like, Sadaqa

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If somebody keeps a dog, he loses one Qirat (of the reward) of his good deeds everyday, except if he keeps it for the purpose of agriculture or for the protection of livestock."
[Bukhari Vol. 4 : No. 541]

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said, "Not to wish to be the like except of two men. A man whom Allah has given the (knowledge of the) Qur'an and he recites it during the hours of night and day and the one who wishes says: If I were given the same as this (man) has been given, I would do what he does, and a man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the just and right way, in which case the one who wishes says, 'If I were given the same as he has been given, I would do what he does.' "
(See Hadith No. 543 and 544, Vol 6 - Bukhari)

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said, "There is a Sadaqa to be given for every joint of the human body; and for everyday on which the sun rises there is a reward of a Sadaqa (i.e.charitable gift) for the one who establishes justice among people."
[Bukhari Bk 49,Vl 3,No 870]
